I have had the honor of serving on the College of DuPage Board since 2015. I have served as Board Secretary, Board Vice Chairman and currently Board Chairman. During my term on the board, we reduced tuition and reduced property taxes. We have worked hard to reign in the lavish spending that predated our election to the board in 2015. We have increased transparency and the public’s access to the Board.

We have two seats up in the 2019 election and I am supporting 2 great candidates, Annette Corrigan, an attorney from Wheaton and Marc Incrocci, a Director of Organizational Development from Darien. With these two fiscally conservative indivudals elected to the Board, we will be able to continue improving the College of DuPage.

College of DuPage: Ballot top two should be your top two.

After a deliberate and careful review, we are endorsing Annette Corrigan and Marc Incrocci for the College of DuPage Board. We hope you will join us in supporting them. Annette and Marc are position 1 and 2 on the ballot for College of DuPage Board of Trustees. They will both prove to be exceptional Trustees.

Holan joins College of DuPage Board of Trustees

Heidi Holan’s appointment to the College of DuPage board seems like a natural occurrence given her longtime ties to the school and area.

“As a 35-year resident in the district, my family ties to the College of DuPage are strong,” Holan, tabbed by fellow board members to serve out the remaining three years of newly elected state Rep. Deanne Mazzochi’s term, told the DuPage Policy Journal. “My husband and oldest son have received associate degrees from the college and my youngest son is currently enrolled as a student. I have attended classes at COD and was a member of the Budget Committee prior to being appointed as trustee."

Deanne Mazzochi Resigns from College of DuPage Board

Chairman Frank Napolitano applauded Mazzochi for her leadership and her insight over the last four years.

“We are honored to have served this District alongside you,” he said. “As a Board, we have accomplished much over the last several years, but our work continues as we fulfill the mission of the College and look to the future of education. Trustee Holan and her family have strong ties to the College. Her husband and eldest son earned associate degrees from COD and their youngest son is currently a student at the College. I look forward to working with Trustee Holan as we continue to chart the future of this institution.”

College of DuPage unveils expanded library media lab

Reflecting on technology's quick evolution since his time as a media production student at the Technology Center of DuPage, COD Board Chairman Frank Napolitano stressed the need for more technology in higher education.

"Think about what is in our homes currently and how technology has advanced in the last five, even 10 years," he said. "The industry has come so far and we must constantly improve to give our students the skills they need to be successful. This lab is a wonderful addition to the college and a testament to COD's dedication to providing our students the tools they will need as they complete their studies and seek employment in a growing digital world."
